The world of Julia Astrovskaya = an artist with the technique of the Old Masters and the psychological impact of state-of-the-art electronic media. A whole new world, full of symbols and cyphers. A modern interpretation of the legacy of Hiëronymus Bosch and Francisco de Goya.

Miniature Painting - the Art of putting a strange, tiny universe on a hand and leave the feeling of having watched it through a telescope. A mixture of historical and Medieval elements creates a conditional environment for the mirror images of the wanderings of the soul.

Julia Astrovskaya graduated from the Moscow Surikov State Academy of Arts (under Professor O.M. Savostiuk) in 1995.

Member of the Moscow Union of Artists and the International Arts Fund, lives in Moscow.
